Playing level: late intermediate/early advanced.

Tricks: some double stops (you can play the top note only if needed). Don't be fooled by the 15/8 bar. It is just a long measure with a fermata :).

I wrote this playful arrangement of this well-loved hymn around a worship theme at my church - God the Creator. The "angle" we took on this was that God is not only the Creator of things that are serious and beautiful, but also the creator of humorous things. For instance, isn't it funny how an elephant has such a long nose? Or how about how odd the camel looks with that thick neck and oddly shaped head?

I tried to combine the sound of grandeur with a bit of playfulness for this arrangement, while keeping it also appropriate for a truly reverent worship service.

If you look closely, you'll find some hints of Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow interwoven in the countermelodies.

All creatures of our God and King,
Lift up your voice and with us sing
Alleluia, alleluia!
Thou burning sun with golden beam,
Thou silver moon with softer gleam,

O praise him, O praise him
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Thou flowing water, pure and clear,
Make music for thy Lord to hear,
Alleluia, alleluia!
Thou fire so masterful and bright
That givest man both warmth and light,

O praise him, O praise him
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Let all things their Creator bless
And worship him in humbleness
O praise him, alleluia!
Praise, praise the Father, praise the Son,
And praise the Spirit, three in one:

O praise him, O praise him
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.
